Today’s tip is a simple one (I’m a little ashamed it’s taken me so long to figure this one out). The more you run, the more pairs of shoes you can buy.
The latest addition to my overflowing wardrobe is a pair of Nike LunarGlide+ 3s. My first pair have been copping a beating each weekend as I tackle the hills and tracks of the Dandenong Ranges.
After putting in such a sustained effort there really was only one way to reward myself: with a new pair of LunarGlide+ 3s.
There’s a myriad of reasons why I’ve fallen in love with these shoes (and it’s not all superficial!).
They’re the lightest running shoes I own. Without getting too technical, they feel like they weigh about half of what my ASICS do. When you’re forcing yourself up and down a hill for hours it’s a huge help. Really.
Add onto this their extreme comfort and level of support (they’re challenging my Gel Kayano 17s here), the LunarGlide+ 3s are quickly becoming a work out favourite.
