The Pop-Tarts are taking a backseat (sort of) today as we sit down with Maroon 5′s sexually-charged return to form, ‘Moves Like Jagger.’

 

The song – a tale of a young man that wins over his lady with smooth, Mick Jagger-like moves – sees frontman Adam Levine tease the object of his affection, crooning “I don’t even try to control you / Look into my eyes and I’ll own you / With the moves like Jagger / I got the moves like Jagger.”

 

But if that wasn’t enough to send you weak at the knees, Levine helpfully appears topless in almost every frame of the video as he shimmies his way through the song (as evidenced below).

 

 

The ‘Moves Like Jagger’ video includes footage of Ol’ Snake Hips (Jagger) cut with footage of New Snake Hips (Levine), plus a whole heap of babes in between.

 

‘Moves Like Jagger’ is topped off by an appearance by Christina Aguilera (we couldn’t escape without at least one Pop-Tart), who has returned to music’s forefront looking refreshingly healthy, and looking at home in front of the camera. (Side note: we wish she’d lose the hat.)

 

Easily one of the finest pop songs to see a release this year, ‘Moves Like Jagger’ will have you itching to pound the pavement, or at the very least, dancing down your hallway as you pull out your best Jagger impersonation.
